WebToCRM - Product Overview

If you run a lead generation Web site, you need to give your sales team information that helps them better understand and target their customers. This means providing them with information about their prospects online behavior. Unfortunately, there’s a clear gap between today's online channel, where the lead generation activities occur, and the offline channel where the sales happens.

WebToCRM bridges this gap by capturing key information associated with your online marketing campaigns and passing them to your sales force automation or data base on the lead capture event.

How It Works

WebToCRM is JavaScript based solution that captures critical information associated with your online visitors and passes them to your sales force automation tool. It is completely independent of your web analytics or CRM tools.

WebToCRM is available in three versions:

  • Free Edition: the free edition lets you collect between 1 and 4 online campaign parameters and pass them onto your CRM solution upon lead capture.

  • Plus Edition: the Plus edition of WebToCRM provides access to more data points, including page views, time spent on site and referring source, allowing you to use the information that can be used for lead scoring purposes.

  • Custom Edition: the Custom edition lets you collect additional data points not previously defined that are important to your specific situation. Examples of such variables include number of visitor sessions to site, additional campaign parameters, etc.

The free edition of WebToCRM can be configured and downloaded from the Tealium web site. The configuration tool requires you to:

  • Define the parameters associated with your online marketing campaigns. For example, the destination URL http://www.tealium.com?source=google&kw=insurance has the parameters “source” and “kw”.

  • Define the fields in your online forms where these parameters should be passed.

Once defined, you’ll be provided with a custom JavaScript code that you should place in the body section of your HTML pages. Upon adding the WebToCRM code to your pages, you’ll be able to see your online campaign performance passed into your CRM system, from where you can run reports such as what online marketing campaigns perform best across both channels, not just online.

The free edition, which captures your online marketing campaign parameters, can be configured from our online configuration tool. By engaging us, you can also request for a custom edition of WebToCRM that lets you capture and pass more fields into your CRM tool.
