Define your campaign parameters in this section. These are the parameters that you add to your destination URLs for campaign tracking purposes.
For example, consider the following destination URL: www.site.com/page.html?source=google&kw=plastic&ad=free+offer&medium=ppc.
The parameters in this case are “source”, “kw”, “ad” and “medium”.
In this scenario, you need to type your four parameters in the fields provided, as seen below. You need at least one parameter to be defined within the configuration tool.
Define the fields used on the web form where the parameters should be passed to. You should double check these field names even if using Salesforce or SugarCRM.
Form Name: add your form name to this field. If your existing form does not have a name, then assign one to your form pages and add it to the “WebToLead Form Name” field.
Return URL: this is the name of the hidden field that carries the “confirmation” or the “thank you” page.
Custom ID and Attributes: these are the hidden field names that will capture the values associated with the campaign ID and parameters. Depending on the CRM system that you use, the names associated with these fields may be determined by the CRM system that you use.
All values are case sensitive.
