Mike Anderson

Mike Anderson

Co-Founder

Mike Anderson co-founded Tealium in March 2008. Prior to Tealium, he joined Websidestory/Visual Sciences/Omniture as a Senior Engineer, and was quickly named to the HBX core architecture team. In his engineering capacities, he authored the HBX implementation component, co-authored the HBXStream Webservices platform, and wrote the clustering software to process the Active Segmentation engine. With a desire to work closely with customers, Mike transitioned to the Professional Services team and built the technology consulting practice. In this position he handled all complex HBX and Visual Sciences Platform 5 (now Discover OnPremise) customer implementations including: Disney, Best Buy, Target, Cisco, Yellow Pages Canada, Citi, Comcast, FedEx, Allstate, Kayak, Hasbro, AIG, Schwab, New York Life, Pfizer, Verizon and YouTube. He also provided all HBXStream, Datafeed, and technology training/certification consulting for HBX.

Mike also co-founded two additional companies: iDriveSafely.com and PageEngage.com. iDriveSafely.com provides nationwide online ticket dismissal, insurance reduction and driver education services to end users. Out of implementation necessity, PageEngage.com is an IE plugin and Mozilla proxy application that allows users to watch and manipulate web traffic that streams into their browser.

Mike studied Electrical Engineering at University of California, San Diego and Computer Science at California State University San Marcos.

Ali Behnam

Co-Founder

Ali Behnam co-founded Tealium in March 2008. Prior to Tealium, he held several senior-level positions at WebSideStory/Visual Sciences/Omniture. He joined WebSideStory in a product management role where he managed the company's enterprise-level products. He also managed the rebranding of the product line from HitBox Enterprise to HBX. With a desire to work directly with clients, he later joined the company's Professional Services team managing strategic clients such as Citigroup, Pfizer and Verizon Wireless. In his leadership role, he created the Benchmark Index which provided KPI benchmarks to customers, comparing their site performance to industry peers.

Ali holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from UCSD (University of California, San Diego).

Erik Bratt

Erik Bratt

Vice President of Marketing

Erik Bratt has more than 15 years of technology marketing experience, including senior roles at Microsoft and WebSideStory (now Adobe Systems). Erik’s responsibilities at Tealium include global marketing strategy and execution for the company’s leading enterprise tag management solutions.

Erik has extensive experience in digital marketing, including helping transform WebSideStory from a webmaster tools provider into the market leader for on-demand web analytics. At Microsoft, he helped lead digital marketing and social media strategy, while also launching corporate-wide privacy and security initiatives. As a full-time marketing consultant for Digitaria, Erik helped the company build a national brand and earn recognition for its innovative technology approach.

Erik started his career as a journalist for The San Diego Union-Tribune. He later served as Vice President of Marketing for TelCentris, a cloud communications provider. He is also a partner in Schulman + Thorogood Group, a business strategy and new media consulting firm. Erik is a speaker, blogger and author, having written several best-selling reports on digital marketing and social media for MarketingProfs.com.

Erik received his bachelor's degree from San Diego State University.

Eric Brousseau

Vice President of Technology Services

Eric has 11+ years of experience in the internet industry. With both technical and business accumen, he had great success building a career within Best Buy. In mid-2010, Eric joined Tealium as Vice President of Technology Services.

Eric's first major accomplishment was managing the customer facing relaunch of bestbuy.com; from requirements gathering through development and testing, a 3 year project worth 9 figures. Shortly after the relaunch, Eric moved into marketing where he developed Best Buy's first behaviorally targeted email campaigns. Using his knowledge of enterprise systems and customer segments, he went on to champion an a/b testing capability for bestbuy.com. A year later, Eric founded bestbuy.com's Innovation team, responsible for the development and operations of emails (transactional and behaviorally targeted), a/b testing, digital analytics, personalization, recommendations, web services, automation, and other customer facing features. With Eric's breadth of knowledge and responsibility, he was able to use the synergy of multiple capabilties to launch highly profitable and innovative solutions for Best Buy.

Eric attended the esteemed St. Olaf College in southern Minnesota, where his majors were Economics/Marketing and Chinese Language.

Jay Calavas

Vice President of Sales & Business Development

Jay Calavas is a proven sales leader with over 14 years of experience leading enterprise organizations and helping clients solve complex business problems and achieve strategic goals with cutting edge digital marketing solutions.

Jay's responsibilities include worldwide strategy and execution for both direct and channel sales. Under his leadership Tealium will create both a direct sales strategy and a digital marketing ecosystem that will enable customers and partners to embrace tag management and other complimentary solutions.

Prior to Tealium, Jay has provided his leadership and sales skills across the digital marketing ecosystem with companies such as ExactTarget, TouchCommerce, Visual Sciences and WebSideStory.

Jay holds a BBA in Marketing and Finance from James Madison University.

Mark Wood

Mark Wood

EMEA

Mark is responsible for the development of the Tealium business across EMEA. Mark brings over 15 years of extensive experience in building operations for US software companies in EMEA, with notable successes at WebTrends and WebSideStory. Mark’s determination to bring experience, value and satisfaction to his customers, sets him apart from the rest.

During his career, Mark has developed highly successful sales organisations in Europe, by opening up and developing operations for both WebTrends and WebSideStory. Mark’s significant contributions to both WebSideStory and WebTrends helped to see them both have extremely successful floats on the Nasdaq.
