Ali BehnamMike Anderson

Mike Anderson joined Tealium in March 2008. Prior to Tealium, he joined Websidestory/Visual Sciences/Omniture as a Senior Engineer, and was quickly named to the HBX core architecture team. In his engineering capacities, he authored the HBX implementation component, co-authored the HBXStream Webservices platform, and wrote the clustering software to process the Active Segmentation engine. With a desire to work closely with customers, Mike transitioned to the Professional Services team and built the technology consulting practice. In this position he handled all complex HBX and Visual Sciences Platform 5 (now Discover OnPremise) customer implementations including: Disney, Best Buy, Target, Cisco, Yellow Pages Canada, Citi, Comcast, FedEx, Allstate, Kayak, Hasbro, AIG, Schwab, New York Life, Pfizer, Verizon and YouTube. He also provided all HBXStream, Datafeed, and technology training/certification consulting for HBX.

As the resident implementation expert he was the engineer on record for the implementation component even after he left engineering. He went on to author the HBX Streaming Media implementation component, the FlashTrack ActionScript tracking component, and the Visual Sciences Platform 5 implementation component. Never leaving his passion for development, he also created the iServices platform which provided desktop widgets, RSS, mobile and email based reporting for HBX and Visual Sciences Platform 5 clients. After the acquisition announcement of Visual Sciences by Omniture, he participated on the technology integration team between the two companies and was named the principal implementation migration consultant.

Mike also co-founded two additional companies: iDriveSafely.com and PageEngage.com. iDriveSafely.com provides nationwide online ticket dismissal, insurance reduction and driver education services to end users. Out of implementation necessity, PageEngage.com is an IE plugin and Mozilla proxy application that allows users to watch and manipulate web traffic that streams into their browser.

Mike studied Electrical Engineering at University of California, San Diego and Computer Science at California State University San Marcos.
